NAD+ Lyophilised Coenzyme

NAD+ is a dinucleotide coenzyme present in all living cells that acts as a hydride-transfer cofactor in redox reactions and as a substrate for enzymes such as sirtuins, PARPs and CD38. It is studied in cell biology, metabolism and ageing research. NAD+ is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial, in 500 mg and 1000 mg sizes, priced RM 150–200. No certificate of analysis has been published for the batch on sale yet, so no purity figure is claimed on this page. Ships within 2 working days of payment. Sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

What research says about NAD+

NAD+ is a dinucleotide coenzyme present in all living cells that acts as a hydride-transfer cofactor in redox reactions and as a substrate for enzymes such as sirtuins, PARPs and CD38. It is studied in cell biology, metabolism and ageing research.

NAD+ is consumed by sirtuins, PARPs and CD38 and is replenished by salvage and Preiss-Handler biosynthetic pathways; tissue NAD+ levels have been reported to fall with age in rodents and humans.

Endogenous cofactor under study; a 2026 systematic review found that precursor trials show biochemical target engagement but inconclusive clinical effectiveness, and found no eligible outcomes trials of intravenous or intramuscular NAD+ itself.

Questions

Is there a certificate of analysis for NAD+?

Not yet for the batch on sale. When one is published it appears in the certificates table on this page with the laboratory, batch, test date, method and result. See how to read a certificate of analysis.

How is NAD+ stored?

Sealed: -20 °C (Cayman item 16077, NAD+ free acid, crystalline solid; insert states stability of at least 4 years). After reconstitution: Supplier insert does not recommend storing the aqueous solution for more than one day. These are supplier figures, cited in the handling section.
