GHK-Cu Copper Peptide

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a peptide first isolated from human plasma albumin. It is classed as a research peptide and cosmetic ingredient and has been studied in cell culture, gene-expression and tissue-remodelling models. GHK-Cu is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial, in 50 mg and 100 mg sizes, priced RM 100–120. No certificate of analysis has been published for the batch on sale yet, so no purity figure is claimed on this page. Ships within 2 working days of payment. Sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

What research says about GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a peptide first isolated from human plasma albumin. It is classed as a research peptide and cosmetic ingredient and has been studied in cell culture, gene-expression and tissue-remodelling models.

GHK binds Cu(2+) with high affinity, and reviews report that GHK-Cu changes expression of many genes linked to tissue remodelling, collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and inflammatory and antioxidant pathways.

Investigational as a research peptide; supporting literature is mostly reviews, and several of the cited reviews are by the group that discovered GHK.
